Their Story
A Family in Need of Hope
Please help this family in a time of crisis. Ann, a grandmother, and Allison, her 13-year-old granddaughter, live in Alamo, Nevada. They own property and a mobile home that was their everything.
Several days ago, Allison was in the middle bedroom when she smelled smoke and called out to Ann. Ann opened the back bedroom door and saw flames. They grabbed their dog and ran outside wearing only pajamas - and no shoes.
Watching helplessly, within minutes the entire home was engulfed. Their home - with everything they owned inside - was a total loss. There was no insurance.
They are safe and staying with a neighbor while they try to regroup. Thanks to the generosity of friends and strangers, they now have clothing, shoes, toiletries, and jackets. But without insurance, they desperately need our help to rebuild.
